Job Description

Project Management:
• Lead, plan, and manage multiple projects related to ESG, chemical regulatory compliance,
and sustainability.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables to align with the company’s
goals and Indian/global regulatory requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure timely and cost-effective project
completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, sustainability, production, procurement, finance etc.) and external stakeholders (regulatory bodies, auditors, and industry groups) to ensure
successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with national (Indian) and international chemical regulations, including
REACH, CLP, and BIS standards.

Project Management:
• Drive the implementation of ESG projects and initiatives in line with global best practices
and local regulations (e.g., Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting, GRI, SASB).
• Ensure the company adheres to environmental regulations related to hazardous chemicals, emissions, and waste management, and promote sustainable practices across operations.
• Lead corporate sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures, and certifications, including working closely with investors, customers, and regulatory bodies on ESG performance.
• Monitor evolving ESG trends and regulations in India and globally and adjust corporate
strategies accordingly.

Chemical Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure full compliance with national and international chemical safety regulations, including management of the registration, evaluation, and authorization of chemical substances.
• Lead efforts related to regulatory submissions, compliance audits, and updates on changes in chemical regulations in India and relevant global markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on
the company’s operations and products, providing expert guidance for compliance strategies.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Work with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory
requirements. Regular interaction with NYCO for information / support.
• Communicate project progress, key updates, and potential risks to senior management
and other stakeholders.

Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare regular project reports, including ESG performance metrics and compliance
updates, for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed records of regulatory submissions, project documentation, and compliance-related activities.
