Job Description

Position L3 Windows Support Engineer
Technical Skill (Necessary) • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or related technical degree
• Microsoft Certification (Azure, MCSE, MCSA)
• O365 certification
• Windows Server Based Application Certifications
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Technical skill:
(Good to have) Functional Knowledge
• Experience with handling cloud migration projects
Other Skill (Will be an advantage) • Exposure and knowledge of Cybersecurity will be considered a plus.
Qualifying Experience • 8 to 10 years' experience in Windows Server Administration, Troubleshooting
• Min 2-3 years of hands-on experience supporting clients with AWS
• End-to-End Project implementation
• Hands-on experience with Azure/O365 implementation.
• Experience in working in a Remote Infrastructure Management Company / Team at the level of L2/L3
• Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in working in the ITIL Incident management process

• Team management
• Creative thinker who can investigate multiple paths in the hunt for the root cause of an urgent issue, lead support of business-critical outages, clear the path to resolution, and own the steps for prevention.
Responsibility Architect & Design
• Manage and own architecture, design, and implementation projects
• Provide technological vision for transformation, serve as the Engineering Team lead to whom you will provide leadership and guidance
• Provide a solution leveraging cloud-native components
• Knowledge in server hardening and policy compliance management
• Design and implement effective group policy based on the client infrastructure.
• Installing, designing, implementing, deploying, upgrading, and administering Windows Server
• Architect best practice Patch Management Strategy and oversee the execution
• Define process and provide leadership for incident management, Support for Change, and Problem Management
• Define, plan and execute automation strategy

Project ownership and support
• Manage & own Support Operations: Be part of a team meeting 24/7 & On-Call requirements during shift rotations.
• Capable of owning and handling the Severity 1 & 2 Incident and providing RCA
• Excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Primary escalation for L2 Support and the Ability to mentor the L1 & L2 Windows administrators.
• Managing and supporting an enterprise computing environment consisting primarily of Windows Server O/S
• Configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, replication of Windows Server 2008
• Work closely with Client and Internal Operations, project management, and engineering teams to meet the customer's requirements
• Creating, reviewing technical documentation
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of WINS, DNS, DHCP, AD, IIS, SCCM
• Monitoring, securing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory
• AD Group Policy Management
• Solid understanding and experience supporting, building, and managing VM technologies
• Ability to utilize scripting utilities to accomplish centralized tasks such as software deployment and configuration
• Communicate effectively with subject matter experts for Servers, networks, storage, Management & monitoring tools, backup
