Job Description

Review the month-end close and ensure all of the deliverables are completed on time with highest quality,
Knowledge of Commodity Crush& Distribution Business along with understanding of nuances related to contracts , their execution , related Costs , MTM of Open contracts. Understanding of futures , options , Forwards &their accounting will be key attribute
Financial Reporting of numbers on monthly/quarterly & annual basis in accordance with US GAAP on OS after the accounting numbers are matched with Trading estimates or within Threshold
Replication of best practices for Newly transitioned business under BBS scope assisting controller in closing/ submitting OneStream,
Creating a high performance team enriching them with accounting & business knowledge mentioned above to derive consistent improved results
Timely completion of US GAAP & SOX audit without any major observations
Point of contact for first level escalation/ GL Close/ US GAAP reporting / Account reconciliation and SOX ,
Act as helping hand to Accounting officer and guide him/her throughout the audit process,
Ensure all the of the processes are complaint to group policies and procedures,
Ensure effective backups and SOPs are in place.
