Job Description

Research global fashion trends with a focus on US and UK markets.
• Develop seasonal collections for knit garments (menswear/womenswear/kidswear).
• Create design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and theme boards.
• Work on highly embellished garments, including placement and development of embroidery.
• Collaborate with embroidery teams/vendors for design development and execution.
• Work closely with merchandising teams to understand buyer briefs and requirements.
• Coordinate with sampling and production teams to ensure timely sample development.
• Ensure design feasibility in terms of fabric, trims, embroidery techniques, and costing.
• Source fabrics, trims, and embellishments relevant to design concepts.
• Follow up on sampling, fittings, and approvals.
• Maintain proper documentation of design developments and approvals.
• Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, garment construction, and embellishment techniques.
• Exposure to high fashion / heavily embellished garments.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.).
• Strong understanding of international trends and forecasting.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
