Ather Energy Appoints Surabhi Loshali as Chief Human Resources Officer

Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy has announced the appointment of Surabhi Loshali as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective January 5, 2026. The appointment marks a significant leadership move as the company continues to scale its operations and strengthen its organisational foundation.

In her new role, Surabhi Loshali will be responsible for overseeing Ather Energy’s end-to-end human resources and administrative functions. She will work closely with the leadership team to align people strategy with business objectives, enhance leadership development, strengthen talent pipelines, and build robust HR systems that support the company’s long-term growth plans.

With over two decades of experience in human resources leadership, Loshali brings deep expertise in people strategy, organisation development, talent management, culture building, transformation initiatives, and people analytics. Her professional journey spans multiple sectors, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, manufacturing, technology, and financial services, giving her a strong foundation to lead HR initiatives in a fast-growing and innovation-driven environment.

Prior to joining Ather Energy, Surabhi Loshali served as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Strides Pharma Science Limited, where she led global HR operations and played a key role in driving organisational transformation, leadership capability building, and workforce engagement across geographies.

The appointment was approved by Ather Energy’s board based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, reflecting the company’s focus on strengthening its senior leadership team. Commenting on the appointment, Ather Energy’s leadership highlighted the critical role of people and culture in building sustainable businesses and expressed confidence in Loshali’s ability to support the company’s next phase of growth.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Surabhi Loshali stated that her focus would be on developing future-ready capabilities, strengthening leadership depth, and building scalable people systems while preserving Ather Energy’s unique culture.
