• The management and control of all defects within the project, and ensure the proper hand-offs and coordination between project teams
• To own and chair daily defect calls with multiple Teams, and to provide clear minutes and actions.
• Definition, ownership and management of the Defect Process.
• Ensuring all defects are entered correctly and controlled / managed and re-tested as effectively as possible through their lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain metrics, queries, reports and dashboards regarding defects for the different teams and projects as required.
• Manage the prioritization of defects and queue workload for defect teams
• Daily coordination and follow up with Partners onshore and offshore team members on their assigned defects
• Provide Input on the test strategy

• Assess quality and test process maturity level and assist in defining strategy to implement best practices.
• Monitor Communications are as per the plan
• Report any concerns on defect resolution, documentation, quality, or timelines to Test and Project Management
• Complete post project defect analysis for possible improvements
• Resolve issues with Solution Leads and Project Leads
• Resolve issues with the testing team
• Work with IT and/or Business Leads to find Resources needed to successfully complete testing
• Define guidelines for resolution of defects in collaboration with the rest of the teams
• Lead review sessions of best practices for defects and implement results
• Responsible for designing defects communication plans
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field • + years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. • Experience with creating cross teams global standard processes and implementing them • Ability to manage repeatable standard processes along with an ability to find, own and resolve ad-hoc issues. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • A self-motivated team player with good communication skills and the ability to multi-task • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems • Management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, and execute to Test plan). • A passion for software product quality • Good working knowledge of software development lifecycle.
