Job Description

• Propose annual sale budget and activities around business in line with the company’s budgeted targets and get validation from senior management.
• To achieve budgeted sale target and fulfillment of planned activities for near as well as long term in line with stake-hold’s overall expansion plans.
• To develop the overall concentrate business in both product segments - broiler as well as layer and feed additives and meet the budgeted targets and overall growth plans.
• To identify tollers/lease options/work around the Operation team for building our own manufacturing concentrate units in areas where key stake holders plans to grow.
• To work on AFEs/business proposal and get necessary approval for go ahead. Work with related departments to ensure timely completion of the proposed project.
• To work closely with the technical lead/manager, formulation team as well as operation in product upgradation, new formulation and overall development of product portfolio - existing as well as new.
• To develop and lead a team of sales in chosen territories for business development, sales and overall customer support.
• Plan in advance monthly travel of teams as well as self, control travel cost as budgeted and monitor daily team work/ travel activity to ensure alignment with proposed travel plan and effectiveness of the same in sales and overall business development.
• Organize and conduct weekly/monthly sales review with team to ensure the business is in line with budgeted forecast – monthly as well and annually.
• To develop sales incentive plans for both distributors as well as team to drive volumes.
• To generate and timely submit and discuss weekly and monthly sales report with reporting manager.
• Drive day to day activities around sales and business, ensure timely generation of sales orders and execution in close coordination with finance, sales coordinator, operations and execution team.
• To provide sales and technical support to key accounts/dealers/distributors and monitor the overall effectiveness of these trainings in customer understanding of products and generating sales.
• Plan with the Technical sales lead/manager to facilitate customer visits and trainings, conduct farmer seminars wherever applicable in various regions of operations in order to provide product knowledge and awareness, support and timely resolution of issues being faced by customers.
• To provide timely feedback to Technical sales lead/manager and reporting manager on issues around products and customers for timely redressal.
• To provide timely product trainings with Technical lead/Manager to sales team to ensure all are updated in order to ensure effectiveness of sales
• To work with Marketing lead/manager on improving the sales and visibility of products/brand by providing crucial inputs on competitors’ products, activities, pricing, market trends and needs.
• To assist in developing necessary tools and information required for sales, seminars and events.
• Prepare sales reports and conduct meeting with reporting manager for monthly/quarterly/annual sales review.
• Arrange and facilitate new customer/dealer/distributor creation/credit limits/distributor agreement with all required documents, get necessary approvals for creation of code and start for business.
• Follow up on timely payments with customers as contracted.
• Cross coordination and timely providing information required by other departments - operations, execution, finance, legal, compliance in line with the business.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor Degree qualification – Fisheries Science/Aquaculture or Related Subjects with strong sales
experience in the Shrimp Feed/Probiotics/Aqua Products with at least 5+ years of experience in the industry,
ideally in B2C, where you have been able to develop a business focus.
