• Lead and manage sales operations in North region - including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana
• Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets while building strong relationships with customers; Responsible for
developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize market penetration & increase market share
• Goals-setting as well as evaluating them to make sure they are consistent with the business plan; Monitoring & analyzing
sales trends and aligning them with the sales plan
• Develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure and an aggressive sales team; Supervising, controlling, and coordinating
the actions of area sales managers; Identifying & appointing appropriate channel partners with required experience, good
infrastructure, sound financials and a growth attitude
• Strategize, prepare, monitor and control sales budget, sales forecast, sales plan, etc.; Achieve operational goals for regional
sales through data-driven process, developing strategic plans and continuous realignment
• Ensure that distributors and customers in the region are provided with information about products and services updates in
order to improve sales in the region & focus on strategically important projects
• Coordinate with marketing team to make sure that the region has access to enough merchandising and promotional
opportunities to support marketing efforts and increase sales there.
• Ensure adequate supply levels at the CFA, distributor point, and consumer point by coordinating with supply chain team
• Bachelor's degree/ Master’s Degree in business studies (MBA or equivalent) with a focus on sales/marketing • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the edible oil industry in the area of sales (with prior experience in Rajasthan/UP/Haryana) with preferrably 4 years of experience managing a team of permanent employees & ISRs/DSMs. • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; confident handling of MS-Office; Sound Presentation skills • You have a strong understanding of the edible oil market, industry trends, and customer preferences. • You are a committed and customer-oriented team player who has a proactive, goal-oriented way of working • You exhibit strong leadership skills; You have the ability to manage and lead a sales team • You are open to travel a minimum of 15 days in a month
