In the capacity of a Consultant Biochemist, your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Overseeing and managing day-to-day laboratory operations as the Consultant Biochemist.
2. Assuming the role of Technical In-Charge and serving as the authorized signatory for the department, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
3. Reviewing and verifying all laboratory reports as an authorized signatory, with a willingness to extend working hours in urgent situations.
4. Maintaining the Quality Management System and Quality Assurance program, adhering to company standards, and addressing customer complaints for satisfaction.
5. Handling feedback and inquiries from medical professionals, providing timely and accurate responses to report queries.
6. Managing and continually training laboratory staff to ensure effective performance in line with established standards.
7. Certifying and authorizing all cases within the laboratory with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.
8. Working six days a week, with daily hours of 8, and entitled to 15 days of annual leave for a healthy work-life balance.
