• Data analytics to identify potential areas of fraud and revenue leakage
• Assess the current processes and transactions, identify potential areas of audit issues and implement continuous transaction monitoring process for such process areas
• Monitor and ensure that remediation actions are taken by the Service Delivery teams
• Identify, evaluate, and monitor the remediation of control deficiencies in collaboration with the respective stakeholder (internal and external auditors)
• Identify and document control adherence improvements in business process flows on a continuous basis
• Actively drive standardization and automation, apply and implement best practices for managing internal controls and deploy innovative technology where possible to enhance and continuously improve the design and operating effectiveness of the controls, documentation, assessment and review procedures
• Educate the Functional Service Delivery leads by leading training sessions and focused sessions on compliance requirements and share feedback on issues identified
• Drive scoping and risk assessment by collaborating with cross-functional teams to stay up to date on significant changes that may have an impact the process design and/or operating effectiveness of controls
• Support internal and external groups (respective Global/Regional teams, process/control owners and external auditors/advisors) on matters related to internal controls
• 12+ years of experience in Big Four in the area of process/ internal audit with focus on leveraging data analysis
• Minimum Education Qualification Bachelors/ Masters in Commerce/ Accountancy and CA/ ICWA/ MBA
• Deep experience with leveraging data analytics to perform targeted sampling techniques and using automation for continuous transaction monitoring
• Knowledge and experience with statistical analysis methods like Benford’s law or Bayesian analysis would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience with Data Analytics technology would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills that allow effective interactions/communications with stakeholders across regional and/or functional lines
• Project Management certification would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of accounting concepts and process/controls related to Financial Reporting, Credit to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Commodity Trading
