1. Leading policy discussion, guiding stakeholders and tracking policy developments across a wide spectrum on design interventions.
2. Build Design as a CoE in CII
3. Will be a single point contact for Government departments/ Ministries to create synergy between industry and Government for betterment of Design sector
4. Having rich experience in the Design field identifying key Government project and schemes beneficial for industry.
5. Explore projects for evaluating and auditing the design institutions in India- Design Certification and Rating
6. Design and develop training program for industry experts, undergraduate/ postgraduate students and higher education institutions
7. Work closely with International Design Councils and bodies for promotion of Indian design in the external world. Explore potential projects and strategic high-level dialogues between key stakeholders from different countries
8. Prepare subject specific reports, recommendations, white papers in consultation with external stakeholders, members and internal team
9. Work closely with the CII National Committee on Design members for receiving inputs on various design initiatives and lead the sub-group/ steering committees
10. Identify and approach key stakeholders for partnership in various program, awards, events within Design vertical
(i) Master’s degree in design from a reputed Institute in India
(ii) Team player
(iii) Managing client relationship and communications
(iv) Self-driven, independent and motivated.
(v) Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
(vi) Excellent written and spoken English.
(vii) Good computer skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office applications
