Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills
Experience working with large scale process / Manufacturing Industry on development and analysis of cost.
Sound understanding of costing principles.
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Demonstrated skill in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing and operational use.
The candidate would play a vital role in providing leadership and direction to the cost management team including planning and implementation of the cost management functions, such as cost planning, estimating, bench marking, cost control, and cost reporting.
Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of Costing, consolidation and validation of data for the standard costing purpose
Shall be responsible for getting cost accounts and records prepared as per cost accoutning record rules and get the same audited by the cost accountant as required under the rule
He would be involved in preparation and detailed analysis of the product cost data and monthly variations.
The individual would play a vital role in preparation of Budget and monitoring Actual Vs Budget
should possess a good working knowledge of Inventory Management and Inventory Control and Material Movement.
The individual should study the existing financial structure for the purpose of capturing actual product cost
He would be dealing with Internal and External Audits in the areas of Cost and Inventory
The incumbent would be involved in calculation of Transfer Price process for Inter-company sales as per guideline from division.
He would play a major role in defining policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities
Scrutinize claims made by contractors and check project scope variations, delivery schedule disruptions and timeline deviations to verify claims
Preparation of Rate analysis, First Principle Cost estimates and fair budgets
Prepare various MIS reports for review and analysis in order to put better Controls in place and help the business take necessary decisions on the basis of the same
Partner with cross functional teams like Mfg. Finance, Production etc. in order to get the required costing inputs to be incorporated for the working
Ability to Lead, guide, direct and supervise the team.
