Job Description

Propose sales plans and strategies and get validation from senior management for developing
business and achieving sales goals in the territory
Execute on sales strategies, monitor and ensure achievement of these overall sales plans and strategies.
Prepare and propose the annual budget for poultry business (feed additives/specialties, concentrates,
other products linked with poultry) get validation from senior management and execute.
Develop market intelligence around competitive activities and products, industry trends and seasonality to take
informed decisions. Further recognize changes in the business environment and recommends modification of
existing marketing and technical programs.
Manage and develop key customer accounts, dealers/distributors in assigned territory, ensure adequate sales
and technical support and management (Pre Sales & Post-Sales).
To provide sales support and technical training to key customer accounts, dealers/distributors and monitoring
their effectiveness, generating sales and providing timely feedbacks.
To align with and assist marketing manager to execute on brand building and promotional activities to help
increase awareness and push sales.
In close collaboration with the reporting manager and Indian HR department build, train and lead a team of
sales executives for business expansion in the territory once we reach a sizable business volumes and turnover.
Preparation of weekly customer visit itineraries for review and approval by the reporting manager. Plans travel
in controlled budget and prepares customer visit reports and a monthly summary report for submission.
To ensure adequate stocks and inventory levels and push for liquidation in line with sales forecasted,
coordinate with the execution and operations for timely supplies and availability.
Arrange and facilitate new customer/dealer/distributor creation/credit limits/distributor agreement with all
required documents, get necessary approvals for creation of code and start for business.

Timely resolution of customer/dealer/distributor disputes and ensures adherence of business terms, assists in
resolution of credit problems and ensure timely payments.
Prepare market and sales reports and participate in internal sales meetings to align with sales targets and
overall goals.
Cross coordination and timely providing information required by other departments - operations, execution,
finance, legal, compliance in line with the business.
Participates in trade association meetings, Customer Seminars, Trade fairs.

Desired Candidate Profile

With a postgraduate qualification preferably BVSC & AH and nutrition, MBA an added advantage with strong
sales experience in the poultry nutrition and health domain with at least 10-12 years of experience in the
industry. Strong technical knowledge and experience in sale of poultry feed nutritional and supplement
