Job Description

Perform dimensional inspections of machined parts using precision measurement tools (e.g. micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc).
• Conduct NDT inspections, including UT, PT, and MT, on machined/welded components to detect material defects or discontinuities.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance through regular audits and inspections.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive improvements in manufacturing processes.
• Support supplier development programs to enhance overall quality performance.
• Product NCR analysis and Corrective / Preventive action implementation through RCA.
• Stay updated on advancements in machining and NDT technologies and standards.
• Good Co-ordination skills with own team, Supplier and Customer.
• Able to work independently and able to provide technical and quality guidance to suppliers

Desired Candidate Profile

Engineering Graduate ( Mechanical) with experience in Machining & NDT Level II in UT, MT & PT and having min ~ yrs experience. • Hands on experience in product manufacturing processes (mainly Machining) and Quality Control in the Hydro power, Thermal Power, Oil & Gas sector. • Familiar with relevant national & International Code & Standards ( ASME, EN & IS) . • Quality focal for operational issues surrounding Cost of Poor Quality, process FTY or process failures. • Good understanding of Quality Documentation/Databook/Dossier. • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan and execute programs. • Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively
