The CFO will be a strategic business partner to the CEO and a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for:
? Financial strategy and governance
? Program and project finance
? Commercial and bid finance leadership
? Treasury and working capital management

? Group reporting and alignment with the parent company
? This is a hands-on role suited for a leader who can operate both strategically and operationally in a high-growth, project-based defense environment.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Financial Strategy & Leadership
? Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
? Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO, Board, and parent company
? Drive profitability, cost optimization, and sustainable growth
? Establish scalable financial processes and controls
? Program & Project Finance
? Implement project financial control including:
• Cost-to-complete (CTC)
• Estimate at Completion (EAC)
• Program margin analysis
? Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with Ind AS 115 (percentage of completion)
? Monitor project cash flows and working capital in long-cycle defense programs
? Partner with program and operations teams to improve financial performance
B. Commercial & Bid Finance
? Lead the financial aspects of defense tenders and pricing strategy
? Support contract negotiations from a financial and risk perspective
? Manage milestone-based billing, bank guarantees, and exposure to LDs
? Drive financial evaluation of new business opportunities
C. Accounting, Compliance & Group Reporting
? Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, taxation, and regulatory requirements
? Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments
? Manage transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
? Deliver timely and accurate reporting to the parent company
D. Treasury & Working Capital
? Manage liquidity and funding for ongoing and future programs
? Optimize working capital in a government contracting environment
? Oversee banking relationships and cash management
? Manage FX exposure in a multi-currency environment
E. Systems & Transformation
? Lead ERP / financial systems enhancement and automation initiatives
? Build a robust MIS and data-driven decision support capability
? Leadership & Stakeholder Management
? Build and lead a high-performing finance team across locations
? Interface with auditors, banks, advisors, and government authorities
? Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and business leadership
Experience & Qualifications
? Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
? progressive experience in:
• Project-driven organizations
• Defense / aerospace / EPC / MRO / long-term service programs
? Strong experience in:
• Project & program finance
• Government / DPSU contracting environment
• Working capital management in long-cycle projects
? Proven leadership role as Head of Finance / CFO / Finance Director
? Experience working with a multinational / group reporting structure – Advantage
? ERP implementation or finance transformation experience – Advantage
