• Work with product cost team, business partners, leaders, and IT to develop and implement technical solutions that will increase the efficiency and quality of product cost reporting.
• Support material master data administration
• Documents business processes, work flows, and requirements as they relate to a product cost automation initiative
• Maintain system of standard cost of goods sold under SAP workflow
• Run month-end closing under SAP CO-PC and provide input for inventory valuation to accounting
• Evaluate standard price variances and decide about standard adjustments
• Product costing and sales support for pricing
• Provide full cost transparency on all articles sold and support pricing process in the most efficient way
• Identifying potential savings, especially to offset negative cost variances
• Preparation of reports for plant management and operations management
• Ensure effective functionality of price calculation tools in use
• Chartered Accountant/Cost & work accountant
• Multisite and international experience
• Broad financial experience in controlling, cost accounting, costing/pricing and corresponding financial processes
• Excellent user knowledge in Microsoft Office and automated planning, controlling and reporting applications under SAP
• Strong communication skills combined with business fluent English
• Ability to build partnerships and collaborate across functions and regions
