Job Description

Blending Operations

• Operate blending equipment including tanks mixers pumps and meters to produce lubricant blends according to specified formulations
• Follow standard operating procedures SOPs and batch sheets to ensure accurate blending and mixing of raw materials
• Monitor and control blending parameters such as temperature pressure flow rates and mixing time to maintain product quality and consistency
• Conduct routine checks and tests to ensure proper functioning of blending equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks on blending equipment
• Physically picking up raw material from store to production location and emptying RM into tank

Raw Material Handling

• Safely handle and measure raw materials including base oils additives and other chemicals for blending operations
• Weigh and mix the required quantities of raw materials according to batch specifications
• Utilize proper labeling and identification techniques to ensure accurate inventory control and traceability
• Coordinate with the logistics team to receive and store raw materials in designated areas

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Follow proper handling storage and disposal procedures for chemicals and hazardous materials
• Comply with environmental regulations and maintain proper documentation related to waste management
• Use personal protective equipment PPE as required and promote a culture of safety within the workplace

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate production logs batch records and other required documentation
• Record blending parameters raw material quantities and any deviations or abnormalities
• Generate reports on production efficiency downtime and quality performance
• Provide clear and concise communication to supervisors and team members regarding process status and issues.
