Growing business needs a Full-Time Accounting Associate
Starting pay: Between $40-50K based on experience
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7am-4pm- Not A Remote position
Dress Code: Very casual, occasionally business casual
Accountant Job Responsibilities:
• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports as requested.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Required:
• At least 1 year of basic accounting experience.
• Must know credits, debits, journal entries, bank reconciliations etc.
• At least 1 year of Excel experience. Including V-Look Up’s and Pivot Tables
• Experienced Data entry, 10-key, typing skills
• Organized and Punctual, must be able to manage workload to meet deadlines
• Be able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
