LTA & Procedure for payments

 

PURPOES

To streamline the procedure of availing LTA and its payments.

SCOPE

This policy is applicable to all the units of _________ group.

ENTITLEMENT

As per salary structure decided by Corporate HRM from time to time.

POLICY

LTA year shall be from 01st January to 31st December.

LTA to be paid to employees as soon as his LTA becomes due for the entire period.

Leave Travel Assistance (LTA) shall be paid in the form of reimbursement.

Employees must take atleast 5 days EL to apply for LTA.

LTA can be claimed only once in a year subject to prevailing IT rules.

Approving authority for any level of Employees will be Head of the Department while routing through F & A department.

For staff getting promoted /leaving the service shall be entitled to LTA on pro-rata basis.

In case employee leaves, LTA dues shall be paid along with the settlement as “ex-gratia” since LTA procedure would become non-applicable.

80% of LTA due amount can be taken as advance against LTA.

There will not be any deduction of LTA entitlement on account of sickness/illness (upto 3 months).
