Job Description

• Defines industry leading designs in the areas of infrastructure technologies in the areas of: VoIP and SIP architectures, ACD architectures, virtualization, VDI, LAN/WAN, Security, Storage, public and private cloud, mobility solutions, & security platforms.
• Design large scale cloud based infrastructures
• Design effective IT Service Delivery Models that incorporate new technologies and services into day to day operations and support that ensures a world-class service experience for our clients.
• Support internal business units, technology teams and individuals to design and implement infrastructure.
• Communicates strategic knowledge relating to infrastructure technology trends and solutions that meet user needs and network requirements.
• Assumes leadership position to drive a consistent and consolidated technology solution. Understand the company’s business plan, functional areas, and associated technologies.
• Coordinates business unit technology direction and drives alignment related to technology and services.
• Constructs infrastructure technology roadmaps that are confirmed through cost-benefit analysis, and alignment with technology standards and roadmaps.
• Provide guidance and oversight to engineering teams on topics related to infrastructure technologies.
• Maintains external vendor relationships that can be used to leverage, and influence technology decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10+ years experience in large scale carrier WAN infrastructures including software defined networking (SDN) • Demonstrated fluency and understanding of contact center technology environments • In-depth design skills of next generation communications such as SIP-VoIP/Digital Voice and large scale ACD architectures. • Experienced with cloud delivered services to include CCaaS/UCaaS, IaaS. • Experienced in the analysis, design and planning phases of technology related projects. • Experience selecting technology paths and design of the initiatives • Proficient at partnering with others to build and maintain technology strategy and performance models. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
