Job Description

1. Analysis of the production material requirement (All mechanical bought
outs, Electricals bought outs, Fittings, Flanges, hoses, insulation
material, sealing material, Machining components, and the sundry items
as required for projects, capital purchase, and other consumables and
preparing final documents for approval.
2. Sourcing the best option in terms of Cost, Quality, Delivery, and
payment terms suitable for business.
3. Negotiation of prices of material which are most competitive without
compromising with the quality of the material.
4. Preparing the purchase deals & obtain approval and releasing for
Purchase order.
5. Monitoring the daily transactions and control on cost, quality, delivery
inline to project requirements.
6. MIS presentation to management and update on daily issues
resolutions.
7. Case Flow statement preparation on monthly basis.
8. ldentifying & develop new sources and mobilizing the suppliers to obtain benefits in terms of Quality, Cost & Delivery.
9. Inventory control measures and suggesting actions for minimizing cost
of inventory.
10. Rate Contract preparation, evaluation and renewals including AMCs if
any.
11. Maintain Key supplier's relationship to meet the deliveries on time.
12. Conduct Suppliers audit along with QC and meeting as per the
periodicity.
13. Establish better systems and processes for effective procurement and
ensure the sustenance.
L4. Clearing of invoices in system for GRN processing.
15. Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal
departments, a nd customers.
L6. ldentifying potential suppliers (alternate), establish strategic
relationship for long term association, visiting existing and new
suppliers.
17. Develop new supplier alternative suppliers for each category of items.
18. Resolve vendor's/supplier's grievances and claims against supplies and
payments.
19. Establish close relationship with internal customers such as Design,
Production, QAC, Project Planning, Projects, and Marketing etc.
20. Maintain ISO systems and documentation for the dept and closure of
open points it any.
21. Support to Sales/ Marketing Dept for price and lead time for new
enquires.
