Job Description
• Ensure safe work culture exists through application of EHS standards and 5S development.
• Ensure Quality standards and manufacturing processes are followed to deliver a quality product.
• Proficiency in leading, organising and managing shop to ensure overall quality and delivery of the final product.
• Productivity and efficiency monitoring and driving process improvements in shop for productivity and efficiency.
• Review of component drawings,fabrication process,fabrication hours etc..
• Should be familliar with welding related documents like WPS, PQR & WPQ and Various NDT Processes.
• Monitoring of Welding Quality (UT Defects,Weld Visual Quality) and improve it continuously by Welder’s Training,Right Person on Right Job etc..
• Monitoring and ensuring hours booking in SAP on monthly basis.
• Communicate with other departments within Manufacturing,PPC,Quality,Maintanance,Stores &SCM to align shop requirements.
• Manages the procurement requirements, storage and handling of fabrication shop consumables.

Desired Candidate Profile
• Education: Graduation (B.E or B.Tech) with minimum to years of experience in relevant industry. Post graduation, CSWIP . ,IWE/IWT will be added advantage. • Good knowledge of materials, tools and manufacturing drawings. • Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques and machine specifications. • Knowledge of various standards for Fabrication. • Experience of leading a heavy fabrication shop with + technicians. • Experience of working in a project based industry.
