Job Description

• Planning of Sequence / Operation considering cost, proper utilization of resources & smooth flow
of work centre wise operation.
• Study of Drawings considering requirement of Processes, Special tooling, Jig, fixture & Template
etc. for facilitating manufacturing process.
• Routing & Process Planning for rework orders in co-ordination with Design, Quality Control & Project Team.
• Support / Scope planning for Outsourced Items as per request of Project Co-ordination Team.
• Suggest drawing correction if any discrepancy/Missing dimensions observed during process.

• Hour calculation of Fabricated and Machined components for Turbine & Generator components
• Follow up & tracking of hours (Plan vs actual) of all components running in manufacturing.
• Cost reduction of inhouse manufacturing components by resource optimization i.e., shifting its manufacturing from costlier work centres to cheaper work centres through process improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Good Knowledge of Manufacturing Drawings. • Well versed with GD & T in Drawings. • Basic knowledge of Cutting tools (Machining) • Good Knowledge of Machining and Welding Techniques. • Knowledge of SAP & MS excel. • Knowledge of Hydro Power Components will be preferred.
