Job Description

• Responsible for all major maintenance activities in boiler plant for smooth running of plant
• Should have experience in FBC Boiler, DM & RO Plant running
• Responsible for maintaining target of plant Energy Intensity as per specified energy projects
• Co-ordinate with other departments for their individual energy requirement
• Must be familiar with process boilers, co-gen experience
• Reviewing and analysing process parameters for improving performance
• Responsible for controlling breakdowns & spare inventory
• Familiar with boiler automation, sizing of pumps, cooling towers and dust collecting equipment
• Support boiler department projects & improvements
• Responsible to identify and rectification of operational issues.
• Statutory compliance and periodic inspection of boiler and its instruments
• Coordination with consultant and contractors for outsources job
• Coordination with Boiler Inspector for license / permission etc.
• Planning for the Preventative & Productive Maintenance and annual maintenance program in budget cost
• Ensuring each activity is performed safely.
• Ensuring implementation of permit system. Lock Out Tag Out , Hot work etc.
• Maintain various records and reports.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required
