? To study competition and syllabi and assist in the planning of the three-year publishing programme in keeping with the market trends.
? To liaison with reviewers (subject matter experts and practising teachers/ departments
in schools) and get reviews to improve the quality of each manuscript with a clear competitive advantage.
? To edit manuscript accurately, create artwork briefs, rewrite and improve the quality of texts, wherever required, in liaison with the author(s), and ensure manuscripts are in an acceptable form to be designed, in response to the feedback from reviewers and the study of competition.
? To Visualize the final product and coordinate projects through the production process, liaising closely with the Editorial Services Department for designing and production of the books.
? To suggest and brief designer on the layout and cover design for the target reader in consultation with the CE and the ME.
? To ensure that the final product is of the highest possible quality within the constraints of time and budget.
? To prepare New Book Information and other product promotional materials in consultation with the CEs.
? To ensure quality control at every stage of the editorial and production process.
? Language and content editing skills. ? Knowledge of programming---Python is desirable. ? Ability to multi-task and maintain schedules.
