Job Description
Review of customer specifications and drawings: Analyze customer specifications, data sheets, and GA drawings, to identify requirements, for new welding procedures, consumables, and welder qualifications
Procurment and technical documentation: Coordinate inquiries for new welding consumables, and equipment, and prepare technical data sheets (TDS) detailing requirements for new projects
Execution of Welding Procedures and Qualifications: Conduct welding procedures and welder qualifications in compliance with ASME
Documentation and submission: prepare and submit comprehensive weld books, weld plans and WPS/PQR/WPQ documentation for customer and project approval
Repair and heat treatment procedures: Develop weld repair procedures, hardness test plans, and PWHT (post weld heat treatment) procedures, issue HT cycles to production and review PWHT charts for endorsement
