Job Description

1. Analysis of Purchase requisition for Direct Purchase – Raw material Plate, Coil, Sheets, Flanges & fittings Fasteners, Electrical items sealing gaskets, Bought out items & indirect Purchase consisting of welding consumables, Tools & Tackles, Maintenance,
Quality, Admin, IT, Safety related purchase & services, consumables, floating of enquiries, preparing final documents for cost approval.
2. Sourcing the best option in terms of Cost, Quality, Delivery, and payment terms suitable for business.
3. Negotiation of prices of material which are most competitive without compromising with the quality of the material.
4. Preparing the purchase deals & obtains approval and releasing for Purchase order.
5. Monitoring the daily transactions and control on cost, quality, delivery inline to project requirements.
6. Identifying & develop new sources and mobilizing the suppliers to obtain benefits in terms of Quality, Cost & Delivery & to do supplier performance management on monthly basis to decide upcoming SCM strategies.
7. Rate Contract preparation, evaluation and renewals including AMCs if any.
8. Maintain Key supplier’s relationship to meet the deliveries on time.
9. Conduct Suppliers audit along with QC and meeting as per the periodicity.
10. Implementation of cost reduction strategies for achieve cost within budget.
11. Maintain & record IMS related documentation.
12. Detail-oriented and highly organized & should take process improvement activities.
13. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
14. Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
15. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
16. On time GRN clearance for procured items.
17. Should have experience for handling team members.
