Job Description
• Develop piping design deliverables (layouts, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings)
• Conduct site surveys and interface with process, mechanical, and civil teams
• Create 3D piping models using software like AutoCAD Plant OR3D OR PDMS OR E3D,
or SmartPlant ORSolid Works
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, API, and other applicable standards
• Review vendor drawings for equipment nozzle orientation and piping tie-ins
• Participate in design reviews (30%, 60%, 90%) and HAZOP meetings
• Coordinate with stress analysis and materials teams for optimized pipe routing
• Provide technical support during procurement and construction phases

Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent • + years of experience in piping design within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry • Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, SmartPlant D, or similar tools • Sound understanding of piping materials, valves, and fittings • Knowledge of international piping design codes and standards
