To be responsible for the overall Quality, In-process, Out-going, customer quality of Business Unit and report to the Head Quality.
Ensure adherence to IATF-16949 requirement in line with customer specific requirements.
Ensure that all customer specific requirements are addressed through the process established in the plant
Drive CFT team for the timely closure of all 8D actions for all customer issues.
Drive projects to reduce Quality Concerns, PPM & Quality incidence.
Track & Monitor the Quality performance of the plant for the customers & address customer issues on fast track.
Lead & Drive customer audit preparation & timely closing of all gaps.
Ensure the quality systems are adhered in the SOP and NP processes.
Mentor & Coach Process Quality team for Improving BIQ.
Horizontal deployment of 8D & RCA actions.
To do Continuous Quality improvement through 7QC, MSA and SPC tools
To plan and implement product & process audits - Navigate the quality audits with team, identify NCs and closure of the open-ended elements
To reduce Warranty cost (Control customer returns and credit notes to customer on account of product quality). Manage quality teams manpower cost.
To build and manage the quality budget effectively.
Need to target Automotive Injection Moulding.
Good Knowledge of Quality Tools/Problem solving tools.
Strong experience in managing Audits and accreditations.
Hands on Experience in implementing IATF requirements.
