• Managing Cloud Ops or Cloud infrastructure teams responsible for governance, administration, operations, compliance and to ensure a reliable environment.

• Improving Governance, Automation, Administration, and security for all aspects of the cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
• Validating all documentation associated with the services supported and updating when appropriate.
• Event and incident management ensuring all faults are resolved within agreed SLA.
• Flexibility in work schedule as all sustainment engineering positions are shift work, this position also will include on call work.
• Working with the NOC, Sustainment, Engineering and Architecture as an escalation point and managing information and resources to drive outage bridges to resolution.
• Ensure communications between all parts of the infrastructure organization.
• Provide timely escalations and notifications as required by SOP
• Conducts trainings and mentoring sessions. Provides the highest level of support to the technical operations groups and junior level engineers.
• Ensure all job aids, SOP and knowledge based articles are updated
• Coordinate with Architecture and Engineering on new projects handover.
• Identify and maintain Sustainment Engineering business processes.
• Provide supervision to the Cloud Sustainment Engineering staff.
• Control work schedules, duty assignments, performance evaluations and time-off requests
• Manage working relationships with other business units and maintain effective cross-functional communications
• Maintain a service oriented environment focused on problem prediction, detection and resolution
• Complete additional tasks as assigned
• Education level: Associate’s degree or higher • Relevant work experience: 7 Years • 2 years of managing people • Extensive Experience managing Azure, GCP, or AWS. • Experience with networking, Microsoft technologies, O365, Active Directory, Windows Server (physical and virtual), PAM, ProofPoint and Ping • Knowledge on the following on-premise systems or equivalents: VMware, Nutanix VMware Horizon, Cohesity, Cisco UCS, NetApp • Understanding of the Linux operating systems • Advanced WAN troubleshooting/problem determination • LAN troubleshooting/problem determination • Experience troubleshooting LDAP, DHCP, DNS • ITIL Foundation Trained
