As a Zonal Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and driving business growth within a specific geographic zone or region. Your primary objective will be to achieve sales targets, develop effective sales strategies, manage a team of sales representatives, and ensure customer satisfaction within the assigned zone.
A Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned zone.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
• Set sales goals and targets for the zone and establish action plans
• Recruitment, training and managing a team of sales representative within the zone
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to the sales team to enhance their effectiveness and productivity.
• Set clear sales targets for individual team members and monitor their performance regularly.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience as a Zonal Sales Manager or similar role in the industry.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
