Responsible for Quality and Food Safety in the region. They are responsible to protect the company’s goodwill, reduce product liability and promote value addition in terms of product quality and safety.
Partner with the business and play a role in influencing the business strategy, development and execution.
Control and improve business processes with respect to quality, food and feed safety (risks) improving reliability and efficiency.
Record and report Regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with the Global QFS KPIs.
Ensure legal, customer and certification requirements and standards are met.
Drive risk management and Continuous Improvement in QFS to reduce risk.
To drive harmonization in quality and food safety day to day operations.
Implement strategies to minimize customer claims and reputational damage to the company and its customers.
Development of roadmap on improvement of accuracy and efficiency of QMS and laboratory in the region
Improve and harmonize QA and QC in the region building a strong link to Asia operations.
