JOB PURPOSE:
The position is responsible for developing and leading the execution of the Finance function, including strategic planning
and execution of the business plan, management of short-term and long-term financial resources, cash flow planning,
accounting, audit, tax compliance, regulatory and statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting and financial MIS
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review the Company performance continuously versus the business plan and the Company long term strategy, especially in
coordination with leadership team.
Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the MD and to the Board of Directors
Engage the Board audit and other committees on financial delivery.
Establish, implement, monitor and review monthly / quarterly / half-yearly / yearly objectives and goals for the Company.
Build highly effective systems, processes, policies and procedures to mitigate financial and other risks.
Be responsible for asset liability management and support Treasury to meet the objectives in this respect, with minimal
gaps.
Budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the Company strategic plan.
Enable on-time disbursements to customers and dealers, assist in recoveries and develop processes, policies and procedures
in this behalf.
Resource planning and mobilization in line with requirements of the Company, Plan, implement and review budgets,
accounts and taxation requirements of the Company.
Ensuring compliance with appropriate Accounting Standards, regulatory and statutory.
Manage cash flows and forecasting, optimize the handling of banking relationships, in close coordination with the group
Treasury.
Be responsible for budgeting and implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both
internally and externally.
Monitor the Company performance continuously in keeping with the business plan and guidelines laid down by
Management and the Board of Directors.
Drive the effective implementation of sound controls in accordance with the Finance Process and Procedures and the local
market regulatory environment.
Create, implement and enforce a culture of compliance in the Company.
Develop, implement and continuously review a high degree of internal controls, checks and balances and safeguards
Be responsible for filing of tax returns of the Company on time and perfectly.
Be responsible for the effective conduct and completion of statutory, tax and other audits.
Build a highly effective IT-enabled environment in Finance.
Vetting of financial plans and other financial reporting relating to entire operations before submission to MD or the Board of
Directors or its various Committees.
Cooperate with other business areas, especially with their Finance Controllers in meeting company-wide objectives.
Strengthening controls related to lending and other related operating activities.
A Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum of 10 to 25 years of experience in the Finance and Accounts. Must hold a CFO / Finance Controller position in his current organization.
Should have exposure on heading Financial & accounting function setup on balance sheet & budgeting, forecasting,
and implementation and presenting to board on FP&A aspects on growth strategy.
? Should have team handling exposure above 50+ members on around the same.
? Should have leadership proven track record on quality of business and financial planning in relevant industry.
? Have experienced career growth in last 5 years at least with dynamic personality with high level of energy
and effective interpersonal skills. High level of Articulation and presentation skills
