Job Description

Detailed Job Description of AVP Business Development

1) The position is responsible for planning, implementation of business targets and interacts with external business community to promote company and business in domestic and international markets
2) Should have in-depth understanding of import, export, compliances, and regulations of the business
3) Strong conceptual and proven experience in leading and managing the business development team across globefocused on current products and new products
4) Helping the team in lead generation to ensure the smooth business functioning
5) Work with team to execute annual business development &marketing strategies within assigned territories
6) Evaluating products and markets by analyzing data and metrics
7) Prepare/update annual business plan, including market trends and competitor data
8) Ensure that all business development prospects have clear business strategies and recommendations regarding strategic partners
9) Prospect Introduce and promote organization capabilities to new and existing clients to create new business towards the achievement of target annual goals
10) Co-ordination with R&D,RA, Quality, Manufacturing for existing and new projects
11) Constantly monitor competition and identify areas for competitive advantage
12) Taking up business development activities for existing and new products in current and new markets
13) Establishing goals for performance and growth of the company
14) Managing relationships with partners/vendors
15) Proven success in leadership role
16) Taking up travel to different countries for customer visits as when necessary
17) Demonstrated ability of business presentations to internal and external stakeholders, and leadership team.
